Con Oppenheimer, de Christopher Nolan, como gran favorita, este domingo se otorgan los premios Oscar 2024. La edición 96 de la entrega de estatuillas se realizará en el Dolby Theatre de Los Ángeles, con la conducción de Jimmy Kimmel.
Entre las nominaciones, Oppenheimer aspira a mejor película, dirección, actor (Cillian Murphy), secundario (Robert Downey Jr) o secundaria (Emily Blunt).
El segundo largometraje con más candidaturas es Poor Things, del griego Yorgos Lanthimos, llega con once nominaciones, seguido de Los asesinos de la luna, de Martin Scorsese, con diez. Ambas cintas tienen en sus actrices protagonistas –Emma Stone y Lily Gladstone, respectivamente– en la lucha por el premio a la mejor actriz protagónica.
En el apartado masculino, a Murphy parece que nadie le podrá arrebatar su Óscar a mejor actor, al igual que a su compañero en el film Downey Jr, como mejor actor de reparto.
En Argentina, la trasmisión de la ceremonia comenzará a las 21 y podrá verse por TNT y Max. En tanto que la llegada de las figuras, la llamada alfombra roja, se emitirá desde las 19, por E! Entertaniment.
